Air defenses shoot down 2 drones near Baghdad Airport

Air defenses on Saturday shot down two explosive-laden drones near the diplomatic support facility at Baghdad International Airport, a source told Shafaq News.
The drones were intercepted as they approached the site within the airport perimeter.
Earlier, the United States’ Embassy in Baghdad activated its C-RAM system and sounded sirens, prompting security deployments around the embassy and the Green Zone, particularly in Al-Mansour, following a separate drone interception near the airport.
