Basrah crudes drop with global downturn

Iraq’s Basrah crude edged lower on Wednesday, tracking a global decline in oil markets.
Basrah Heavy crude fell by 2.35% to $57.27 per barrel, while Basrah Medium dropped by 2.26% to $59.82 per barrel.
Brent crude futures fell $1.06, or 1.7%, to settle at $60.70 a barrel. US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude traded at $57.13 a barrel, down $1.19, or 2%.
