Shafaq News/ On Tuesday morning, Israel launched heavy airstrikes on the docks of Yemen’s Red Sea port of Hodeidah, according to the Houthi-affiliated Al-Masirah TV.

No further details were provided regarding the extent of material or human losses.

The Israeli army stated that Israel's navy struck Houthi targets, alleging that the facility is used to transfer weapons.

The attack follows a statement from the Israeli military, posted late Monday on X, urging the evacuation of the Houthi-controlled Yemeni ports of Ras Isa, Hodeidah, and Salif.

Despite the ongoing strikes, the Houthis have continued launching missiles and drones toward Israel, claiming their operations are in support of Palestinians in Gaza, where the Israeli war has killed more than 54,927 people and wounded over 126,615—most of them women and children—according to health authorities in the Strip.

This story was updated to add the Israeli military statement about the operation.
