Kurdistan Region issues an explanation regarding the extension of an oil pipeline to its lands from Iran

Shafaq News / The Ministry of Finance and Economy of Kurdistan Region confirmed on Saturday that the goal of the project to extend a pipeline for oil to the region from Iran is to secure the needs of citizens of fuel and fuel.

This came in response to a report published by the (Iraq Oil Repot) website regarding the project to build a pipeline for oil derivatives from Iran through "Pervez Khan" crossing to the region.

The ministry said in a statement received by Shafaq News today, that the aim of this project is to secure the needs of the market and citizens of fuels (gasoline, gas, and white oil) and not for the process of exchanging crude oil.

The Ministry noted that the project has not yet entered into force because final approvals have not been obtained from the relevant authorities.
