Shafaq News / The Kurdistan Democratic Party announced today that it will hold its general conference next May.
The Kurdistan Democratic Party was established on August 16, 1946, under the leadership of Mustafa Barzani. The party's name was "the Kurdish Democratic Party", but in its third conference on January 26, 1953, in Kirkuk, it was decided to change the name to Kurdistan Democratic Party.
