Iraq reopens border crossing with Iran

Shafaq News/ Al-Shalamcheh border crossing with Iran was reopened on Saturday, Border Ports Authority announced.

 Al-Shalamcheh border crossing has been reopened to traffic from Iraq to Iran, the Authority said in a statement received by Shafaq News.

It is noteworthy that the port was closed to the movement of passengers on the 16th of current November, at the request of the Iranian side due to popular protests there.
