Crime drops 26% in Baghdad in H1 2025

Crime levels in Baghdad’s Rusafa district fell by 26% during the first half of 2025 compared to the same period last year, according to police data released on Friday.
The Rusafa Police Command stated that the decline resulted from intensified field operations, the execution of arrest warrants, effective pursuit of suspects, expanded security presence, and strengthened intelligence work.
