Duhok welcomes the curfew in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah and decides to close places and exclude others

Shafaq News / Dohuk Governorate praised on Saturday the decision of the security authorities to ban roaming in the governorates of Erbil and Sulaymaniyah, while announcing the closure of a number of places, such as  markets, barber shops and malls, confirmed that the aim of the decision to prevent the spread of Corona virus in the province that has not been recorded any infection so far.

"We call on the citizens of Kurdistan Region not to visit Duhok province because they will not be allowed to enter only those who have been excluded from the decisions of the Supreme Governmental Committee to combat Corona virus," said Farhad Atruchi, head of the local government in Dohuk said in a press conference held today.

He called on the residents of the province to abide by the instructions issued to prevent spread of Corona virus, pointing out that the local government decided to close unnecessary places that do not affect the daily needs of citizens.

He explained that it was decided to close the popular markets , malls, barber shops and photography shops in the governorate, with the exception of pharmacies, noting that all pharmacists, bakeries and markets that sell dry food are not included in the decision.

He added that these decisions will come into effect tomorrow, Sunday
