Caretaker PM Al-Sudani, Egypt’s El-Sisi call for Arab coordination to halt escalation

Iraqi caretaker Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani discussed developments in the Middle East with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi during a phone call, the PM’s office said on Wednesday.
Both sides pointed to the importance of strengthening Arab coordination and intensifying efforts to advance dialogue, prioritizing diplomatic solutions to immediately halt the war. They also urged the international community “to assume its legal responsibilities by taking action to stop military operations, prevent further escalation of the conflict.”
