Shafaq News / A leader of Kata’ib Hezbollah attacked US official and threatened American troops in Iraq in a tweet he published today, Friday.

The security official of Kata’ib Hezbollah, Abu Ali Al-Askari, attacked Pompeo in a tweet, " Our response to the timid Pompeo, who resorted again to the language of threatening", stressing that, "you will not erase the resistance name and you will not weaken them".

He continued, "Rather, your threats and the trembling vanities will return to you, which neither you nor your foolish master desires".

Al Askari addressed the US Secretary of State, saying, "I know that you will find men whose hearts are like iron peels, wallowing your noses and soldiers in dirt without mercy, and we will see then, those who are ruthless, as you described"

On Thursday, Hoshyar Zebari, the leader of Kurdistan Democratic Party, called on leaders in Iraq to stop what he described as a "massacre" resulting from the targeting of diplomatic missions and international military forces in the country.

The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, proposed today, Friday, the formation of a tripartite committee of a security, military, and parliamentary nature to investigate the attacks targeting diplomatic missions, departments and institutions of the Iraqi state.

Al-Sadr warned, last Wednesday, of Iraq being lost due to the bombing and assassinations carried out by some parties of Al-Hashd Al-Shaabi.

"Al-Fatah" coalition, which includes armed Shiite factions led by the Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi Al-Amiri, denounced Al-Sadr's statements, saying, "Everyone must be careful and not openly launch accusations because terrorism, the former regime and the deviant groups and the enemies of Iraq are always trying to mix the cards".

For its part, Al-Hashd Al-Shaabi Authority, on Thursday, distanced itself from the attacks against the international coalition forces against ISIS led by the United States of America, reaffirming its commitment to the orders issued by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, considering that its forces are within the official Iraqi defense system. This comes in response to a tweet by the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr.
