Basrah crude oil benchmarks logged weekly gains despite a minor decline in Friday’s session.
Basrah Heavy closed down 48 cents at $66.33, recording a weekly rise of $2.59, or 4.06%. Basrah Medium also slipped, losing 83 cents to settle at $67.88, with a weekly increase of $1.04, or 1.56%.
Brent crude futures ended at $66.68 a barrel, down 76 cents, while US West Texas Intermediate fell 89 cents to $62.68.
