US Seizes an oil cargo Iran was intending to send to Venezuela

Shafaq News/ the US Department of Justice confirmed, on Friday, that it had Seized the oil cargo of four tankers, Iran was intending to send to Venezuela, which is experiencing a stifling economic crisis, declaring that the shipments were linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

The Ministry announced that, with the help of foreign partners, US Seized the oil Iran was intending to send to Venezuela, noting that the cargo was carrying one million barrels of oil. 

The Seizure was described as the Largest US Seizure of Iranian Fuel. 

The US move came after President Donald Trump's administration obtained a judicial order from a federal court in Washington, allowing the seizure of ships that defy US sanctions on Iran.
