Iraq is excluded from the countries that help Lebanon

Shafaq News / Contrary to the official Iraqi and Lebanese statements, the Lebanese army published a list of countries that helped Lebanon, without mentioning  Iraq, which was the first to initiate assistance.

 

The responsible Committee for managing the aids, search and rescue teams, and medical teams, which was formed by the Army Command following the port blast, began its tasks to organize the process of receiving and distributing aid provided by friendly countries.

According to the list, Countries that provided aids to Lebanon, except for Iraq, included:

 

·        Czech: A search and rescue team of 36 people and 4 police dogs.

 

·        Poland: A search and rescue team of 55 people, 4 police dogs, and 12 doctors.

 

 

·        Netherlands: A 65-person search-and-rescue, civil defense and engineering with 8 police dogs.

 

·        Belgium: medicines and medical equipment.

 

·        Italy: A search and rescue team of 18 people, medical and engineering teams.

 

 

·        France: A search and rescue team of 55 people, with 3 police dogs.

 

·        Germany: a civil defense team consists of 50 people, and another medical team of 5 doctors specializing in the health evacuation of critical cases .

 

·        Jordan: A medical team of 99 people accompanied by a specialized team and a field hospital with a capacity of 48 beds.

 

·        USA:  food and medical supplies.

 

·        Qatar: A search and rescue team of 45 people. Two field hospitals, food and supplies.

 

·        Turkey: a medical team of 37 people, a search and rescue team of 17 people and food supplies.

 

·        Russia: A search and rescue team of 157 people, with 6 police dogs, food supplies and a laboratory to examine Covid-19.

 

·        Kuwait: medical and food supplies.

 

·        Greece: A search and rescue team of 12 people, with a police dog.

 

·        Iran: a field hospital and medical supplies.

 

·        Algeria: A search and rescue team of 39 people, medical team of 11 people and food and medical supplies.

 

·        Morocco: A field hospital with a medical staff consisting of 60 people, food and medical supplies for Covid-19.

 

·        Oman: medical aid.

 

·        Pakistan: medical and food aid.

 

·        Cyprus: A search and rescue team consisting of 5 policemen, 5 civil defense people, and 8 police dogs.

 

·        Tunisia medical and food supplies.

 

·        Kazakhstan: Medical team, food and medical supplies.

 

·        Egypt: medical supplies.

 

·        United Arab Emirates: medical supplies for Covid-19.

 

·        Switzerland: Aid for the military.

 

·        Saudi Arabia: household supplies, medical and food supplies.

 

·        Bahrain: medical supplies and medicines.

 

The Lebanese Army Command made it clear that it does not refuse any assistance from any country, but rather is currently directing aid according to need, especially construction materials, medical and food materials.

It also announces that it will distribute the newly arrived food supplies, in the next few days, to the affected families and medical supplies, in coordination with the Ministry of Health.
