US-Israeli strike kills senior IRGC figure

Brigadier General Mohammad Ali Fath Ali Zadeh, commander of the Fatehin unit of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), was killed, Iran’s military-affiliated Defa news agency reported on Thursday.
The Fatehin unit is an elite formation within the IRGC, typically associated with specialized and rapid-response operations.
His death comes days after the killing of IRGC Navy commander Ali Reza Tangsiri in a US-Israeli strike. Yesterday, Iranian media reported that Kamal Kharrazi, head of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations, was seriously wounded in a strike on his residence.
