A deputy head of the local government for Erbil elected

Shafaq News / Erbil Governorate Council voted in a session on Wednesday, by majority, to choose Masoud Karsh as the deputy head of the local government for technical affairs.
Karsh was previously the Director General of Water and Sewage Department in the Ministry of Municipalities and Tourism in Kurdistan Regional Government.
A local source told Shafaq News that 23 members of Erbil Governorate Council voted to approve the election of Karsh to the post of deputy governor of Erbil for Technical Affairs, while 5 other members voted against.
In a press statement after the session, Karsh pledged to make efforts in working to provide services to the districts and sub-districts in Erbil Governorate.
