Shafaq News/ Turkish artillery bombarded on Saturday a site in Batifa sub-district in the north of Zakho, Duhok.

A source told Shafaq News Agency that the Turkish shells landed five kilometers away from the main street linking Batifa and Zakho's downtown and only one kilometer from a fixed site of the Iraqi border guards.

Turkey's artillery and airforce continue to attack villages in Batifa, like Khizava and Mala Arab, targeting the fighters of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) stationing there and causing huge damage to the farms and pastures.
