Drone strike sparks major fire at Castrol warehouses near Erbil

A drone strike triggered a large fire at Castrol oil warehouses operated by the Sardar Group on the Erbil–Mosul road on Wednesday.
A company source told Shafaq News that the drone fell inside the facility, igniting a blaze that engulfed large quantities of oil and logistical materials as civil defense teams worked to bring the fire under control.
The source described the damage as extensive due to the highly flammable nature of the stored materials, while confirming that no staff at the site were injured.
