Sadrists Crowds protest in Nasiriyah in the Oppressed Day

in which their leader, Muqtada al-Sadr has called for  .

A leader in the Sadrist movement told “Shafaq News " , that " thousands have gathered in al-Nabi Ibrahim Street coming from the provinces of Diyala, Baghdad , Karbala , Basra , Diwaniya , Muthanna and Najaf, at the call of Mr. Muqtada al- Sadr to support the oppressed in Iraq and the world."

Sadr has arrived on Friday , to Najaf province coming from Iran, where he completes his seminary to oversee the event.

Sadr called on his supporters to conduct demonstrations every year called " oppressed Day " , to demand for rights and free detainees .
