Combat troops backed by air support have launched since days , large-scale of military operation in the desert areas of Anbar, an extension of the borders of Syria and Jordan against the strongholds of al-Qaeda after killing a number of military commanders.

But those militants have moved to the cities of the province after the turn of events because of lifting the sit-in tents and the arrest of MP Ahmed al-Alwani and killing his brother by security that caused chaos and anger for some tribes .

“We call on the people of Fallujah and clans to expel terrorists from the city so that their neighborhoods will not be exposed to the risk of armed confrontation,” Maliki said in a statement briefed by " Shafaq News “.

Maliki also called on the armed forces not to bomb residential neighborhoods in Fallujah .

Anbar province is experiencing tense security conditions since more than two weeks, where al-Qaeda militants controlled a number of cities , as police and military forces and the sons of the tribes seek to expel the militants .
