Iran: Iraq is fighting “terrorism “ coming from Syria

“The Islamic Republic of Iran with the international community and the majority of the currents political Iraqi parties as well as the Iraqi people , support the action taken by the Iraqi government in addressing " terrorist " armed organizations which seeks through infiltration in recent months, from Syria to target the Iraqi people by its " terrorist“ attacks ,” The spokeswoman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry , Mathiya Afkham said in a statement briefed by " Shafaq News ".

She explained that through the initial solution to combat " terrorism " and root it in Iraq is possible in light of the unity and cohesion among all sects and ethnic groups in this country and broad cooperation on the part of countries in the region with the Iraqi government .

She added that the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasizes once again the need to resort to dialogue as the only way to resolve internal political differences in Iraq .

She added that " terrorist " organizations by targeting the political process in Iraq, especially at a time the current political parties are preparing themselves to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections , are trying to market stability prevailing in the political atmosphere toward retreat and tension.
