Shafaq News / Dozens of protesters were injured on Sunday, following renewed clashes with security forces in Nasiriyah, after a day that witnessed the killing of 3 and the injury of 15 protesters in the southern governorate.

Activists reported to Shafaq News, transporting dozens of people injured by smoke and sound bombs to the medical detachment in Al-Haboubi Square as a result of clashes between security forces and protesters near the square.

The clashes took place yesterday between the Iraqi security forces and the protesters in the process of reopening the international highway linking the provinces of southern Iraq.
