Demonstrators cross the first barrier of Al-Jumhuriya Bridge in Tahrir Square in Baghdad

Shafaq News/ Demonstrators in Tahrir Square in central Baghdad have crossed the first barrier of Al-Jumhuriya Bridge to the fortified Green Zone, activists and witnesses said Tuesday.
Activists and witnesses told Shafaq News that the demonstrators were able to cross the first concrete barrier from the bridge and reach the middle of it after riot police evacuated the place.
They said that security forces fired them with tear gas.
