Barzani’s adviser: Peshmarga is able to fight in the desert as in mountains

Karim said in an interview with " Shafaq News " that since the beginning of the events in Anbar province , Kurdistan Region represented in President Massoud Barzani 's position clearly supported the demands of the people of Anbar and " protestors " if the demands complies with the Constitution and the values ​​of the new democratic federal Iraq .

He added that in recent operations an official spokesman of Kurdistan Region’s Presidency said earlier that Kurdistan is " very worried " from what is happening in Anbar, especially raiding the house of MP Ahmed al-Alwani and killing his brother.

He called for " to speed up in restoring security and stability and not to affect the security and social peace there”.

On the possibility of participation of Peshmarga troops in fighting in Anbar , he said ,” Peshmarga is one of the formations of the Iraqi military system and its duty to fight " terrorism " wherever found , noting that the Iraqi Ministry of Defense represents all Iraqis .

The Ministry of Peshmerga have offered Baghdad last August to deploy its forces in the hot areas of the country , especially the capital within an initiative to restore stability in Iraq .
