Shafaq News /The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr called on Al-Hashd Al-Shaabi to uncover the militias and hold them accountable for the bombing and assassination operations that are happening in Iraq.

Saleh Muhammad Al-Iraqi wrote a tweet, quoting Al-Sadr, in which he said, "After all the factions have disavowed the rude and undisciplined militias.. They must immediately uncover and hold them accountable in cooperation with the security services".

Al-Sadr had criticized in a tweet yesterday, Wednesday, "some factions" close to Al-Hashd, accusing them of being responsible for the assassinations and bombing that are happening in Iraq, calling on Al-Hashd leaders to distance themselves from these actions.

Al-Fatah Alliance, led by Hadi Al-Amiri, issued a statement on Thursday declaring its rejection and condemnation of "any action targeting diplomatic missions", calling on the judiciary and the security services, "to stand firm and strong to end the series of kidnappings, assassinations, and stirring terror among people".

While Al-Hashd issued a statement in which it repudiated, "any suspicious operations and illegal military activity targeting foreign or civilian interests".

It is noteworthy that this is the first time Al-Hashd and the Al-Fatah Alliance issue statements condemning targeting foreign missions in Iraq, about a year after the escalation of missile attacks targeting the US Embassy in Baghdad and some Iraqi camps that include American soldiers.
