Al-Maliki calls on the ministry of interior to thwart plans aiming at destabilizing Iraq

Shafaq News / The head of the State of Law coalition, Nouri Al-Maliki, called on, Today, the Minister of Interior, Othman Al-Ghanimi, to thwart the enemies' plans aimed at destabilizing Iraq.

Al-Maliki's office said in a statement received by Shafaq News agency, "The latter received Al-Ghanimi in his office, where they discussed the security situation in the country".

Al-Maliki emphasized, "the importance the role played by the Ministry of Interior in maintaining internal security, consolidating order and protecting rights, calling for strengthening the security measures and thwarting the enemies' plans aiming at destabilizing the country", stressing, "the importance of improving and developing the quality of services, fighting crime and motivating citizens to engage in community partnership with the police and the rest of the Ministry of Interior formations".
