An informed source told “Shafaq News", that “ the head of State of law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki said until the moment of preparing the report that - the highest percentage of votes in Iraq reached 600 000 votes through Baghdad constituency.

Maliki has achieved a percentage of votes in the legislative elections 2010. As it has got the higher percentage of votes from the other candidates.

The source added that the candidate who obtained on the second ratio among the highest number of votes in the legislative elections was the share of Baghdad constituency. As Bayan Jabr al-Zubadi , the head of (Mwaten) Citizen got more than 190 thousand votes ."

Al-Zubaidi , one of the leading figures in the Supreme Council is one of the most competitive candidates with Maliki as next Prime Minister.

The source said that the third candidate was head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan in Kirkuk, Najim al-Deen Kareem as he achieved so far more than 175 thousand votes .

Najim al-Deen Kareem, the Governor of Kirkuk has emerged recently for the post of presidency of the Republic of Iraq.

The name of Motahedoun coalition (United), Osama al-Nujaifi has raised according to the source to get more than 120 000 votes.

The source indicated that these figures are subjected to change to take into account the board names and special names – the wrong rate in it - in addition to the presence of some other candidates that may exceed of 100 000 votes.

According to other sources that talked to “Shafaq News “that” the independent candidate in Mwaten bloc from Baghdad, Naz Badrkhan al-Sindi have obtained striking votes that may qualify her for a parliamentary seat away from the quota. The same thing for State of Law coalition’s candidate in Babel province, Hanan al – Fatlawi who gained more than 60 000 votes and Najeebeh Njib of KDP in Dohuk .

Another source said that the journalist , Mohammed al-Tai who is independent candidate in Mwaten bloc that he may get about 70 000 votes. He may be the top candidate in Basra province.

In Kurdistan province , candidates in the local elections got striking votes.

An informed source told “Shafaq News", that “ the highest number of votes scored by Change candidate in Sulaimaniyah was Haval Abu Bakr , who got about 250 000 votes. Second, while candidate of KDP , governor of Erbil Nawzad Hadi got 130 000 votes then KDP candidate in Dohuk province ,Farhad al-Atroshi got 40 000 votes.

The political blocs are looking forward to the results of the elections at a time when it seems that the State of Law coalition led by al-Maliki is confident of winning and forming the next government .

The results were published by the monitoring networks have pointed to the progress of Maliki's coalition in a number of south provinces of the country as the Supreme Council and the Sadrist movement are competing for votes.

But estimates suggest that any bloc cannot get a majority allows it to form a government , which opens the door to future negotiations may take long months as the previous government , which took more than seven months.

Political analyst and former member of Kurdistan Parliament from KDP, Abdul Salam Berwari told “Shafaq News " , that “the preliminary figures that are traded on the election results are comparable to the final results therefore all the blocs now know its estimated size .
