Karmian –Kurdistan records 12 new cases of Covid-19

Shafaq News / 12 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19 ) were recorded on Monday in Karmian administration near Sulaimaniyah, the Ministry of Health of Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) announced.

The confirmed cases were distributed as follows nine men, two women and one girl, the ministry statement received by Shafaq News Agency said.

The statement showed that all the active cases got the infection from previous patients due to contact.

In the recent days, the number of Covid-19 infection cases has surged in Kurdistan Region and Iraq, despite the imposition of a total lockdown during the past and current week.

Where KRG Ministry of Health announced on Sunday recording five deaths and 133 new confirmed cases of the virus .

A total of 1,310 people have been confirmed as active carriers of the virus across Kurdistan Region. Of this number, 26 have died and 458 have recovered.
