Shafaq News/ A security source revealed on Sunday that there were casualties during the protests in Dhi Qar province last night.

The source told Shafaq News that "the protests witnessed in Dhi Qar province last night resulted in the injury of 14 people with different injuries," noting that "among the injured people , there were three security personnel."

Protestors southern of Dhi Qar province announced that their province had become empty of political parties after setting fire to their headquarters.

Protesters in Nasiriyah city have burned the local office of Saraya al-Khorasani, one of the Popular Mobilization factions, the headquarters of Badr Organization led by Hadi al-Amiri, the headquarters of Asaib Ahl al-Haq group led by Qais al-Khazali, al- Dawa party headed by Nuri al-Maliki, and the former MP's house, Khalid al-Asadi, as well as the headquarters of the Iraqi Communist Party, the headquarters of the Virtue Party, the Supreme Council, and al-Hikma led by Ammar al-Hakim.

It was the first time that an Iraqi province had been declared vacant since the fall of Saddam Hussein's regime in 2003.
