Another civic activist survives an assassination attempt in Dhi Qar

Shafaq News / witnesses said, on Wednesday, that a civic activist survived an assassination attempt, in the city of Nasiriyah, the capital of Dhi Qar Governorate, in southern Iraq.
The witnesses said that the house of the activist, Mohsen Al-Zaidi, in Nasiriyah, was bombed at dawn today.
No casualties were registered.
Activists published several pictures showing the severe damages the bombing caused.
Recently, many activists in the protests in Iraq have been targeted; some were killed and others were arrested. This comes despite the promises made by Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi to protect the demonstrators.
