Covid- 19 update: Kurdistan records 133 active cases within 24 hours

Shafaq News / Five deaths and 133 new cases of Covid-19 (coronavirus) have been recorded during the past 24 hours, The Ministry of Health of Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) announced on Sunday.

“The Ministry’s laboratories had conducted 1,774 tests that showed 133 people positive of carrying coronavirus and five deaths,” The ministry said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency.

The statement indicated that the confirmed cases are distributed as follows: 39 cases in Erbil, 91 in Sulaymaniyah with five deaths, 20 cases in Karmain administration, four cases in Raparin district, and three cases in Dohuk.

The statement outlined the total figures of active cases since the outbreak of the pandemic in Kurdistan Region, as follows: 1222 confirmed cases, 24 deaths, 448 recoveries and 750 patients remaining under medical care.
