Commander in Peshmerga : We hope an agreement soon with the Iraqi army for the joint deployment disputed

Shafaq News/The commander of the 80 units in Peshmerga forces ,Najat Ali said on Wednesday that he hope to reach an agreement with the Iraqi army leading to a joint redeployment in the disputed areas between   Kurdistan Regional Government and the federal government.

Ali said in a speech marking the graduation of 800 members of the 80 units of Peshmerga forces from a training course in "Soran" camp north of the capital Erbil , Adding that "the facts proved on the ground that the Iraqi army without Peshmerga of Kurdistan cannot maintain security in those areas."

"Events have shown that ISIS and similar organizations create a threat not only to Kurdistan region, but to the entire world, Therefore, we need to continue joint coordination with the international coalition forces, "he said, calling on the coalition to continue to support and train Peshmerga forces."
