New information about the Green Zone explosion

Shafaq News / A security source revealed, on Tuesday, that the explosion that occurred near one of the gates of the Green Zone was caused by a local explosive device.
On Tuesday morning, the security authorities imposed a security cordon at one of the gates of the high-secured Green Zone in the center of the capital, Baghdad, after the explosion, which security sources described as unknown.
The source told Shafaq News Agency, that the device was planted next to a tree in an airport road led to the Green Zone.
He added that the explosion caused only material damage.
