Iraqi factions target U.S. Bases in Syria

Shafaq News / The armed factions in Iraq announced on Monday targeting U.S. bases in Syria.

The operation, conducted using unmanned aerial vehicles, aimed at the U.S. occupation strongholds of Al-Omar and Al-Shaddadi.

A statement released by the Iraqi resistance fighters revealed, "the jihadist forces of Islamic resistance in Iraq targeted two American occupation bases in Syria, Al-Omar and Al-Shaddadi, directly hitting their intended objectives using drones."

Simultaneously, a statement from the U.S. Central Command, also reported by Shafaq News agency, disclosed that "the U.S. military successfully neutralized two offensive drones headed towards American forces and coalition troops in southwestern Syria. The drones were intercepted before reaching their intended targets, averting any casualties or damages."
