Explosion hits a military facility in Baghdad

Shafaq News / A security source said that an explosion targeted Al-Qa'qa military facility in Mahmudiyah city, south of Baghdad.

No further details were disclosed.

It is noteworthy that Al-Qa'qa is one of the military manufacturing facilities of the Iraqi Ministry of Defense.

Iraq has witnessed several incidents of weapons depots exploding over the past years due to high temperatures and poor storage.
