A new committee to study the strategic agreement with USA

Shafaq News / A member of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee said, on Thursday, that the government has formed a specialized committee to study the strategic agreement between Iraq and the USA.

"The committee will present its report to the government after examining the points of the agreement and strategic dialogue," member of the committee Badr Al-Ziyadi told Shafaq News agency.

The strategic dialogue between the United States and Iraq was launched at the beginning of last June to regulate the relations between the two countries at various levels, especially the security aspect.

The governments of the two countries said in a joint statement after the launch of their "strategic dialogue", that "in light of the great progress made towards eliminating the threat of ISIS, the United States will continue in the coming months to reduce its forces in Iraq."
