Shafaq News / The Iranian Revolutionary Guard corps commented, on Saturday, on the agreement, announced yesterday, to normalize diplomatic relations between Bahrain and Israel.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard said in a statement, according to the Iranian "Fars" news agency, that "the ruler of Bahrain (Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa) must wait for severe revenge against the Mujahedeen of Jerusalem and the Muslim people who love this country."
It said, "The shameful act that Al Khalifa and the ruling regime in Bahrain did to normalize relations with the Zionist entity, which was carried out against the will of the Muslim people in this country, is a great folly that lacks legitimacy and will receive the appropriate response."
The statement continued, " normalizing relations with the Zionist entity with the rulers of some Arab countries, led by the White House and the hated and stupid American president, after imposing humiliation on Islamic countries and plundering their wealth, and providing security for the occupiers of Palestine will not lead to any results."
It added that these agreements would "increase the strength of the will of the Islamic nation to uncover the hidden the anti-Zionist resistance to eradicate the cancerous gland represented by Israel from the Islamic world."
US President Donald Trump announced, on Friday evening, in a tweet the normalization of relations between Israel and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The US President also published a joint tripartite statement of the United States, Bahrain and Israel clarifying the details of the peace agreement.
The Israeli-Bahraini normalization agreement comes a month after the announcement of the agreement between the UAE and Israel at the White House.
