Najaf to receive visitors During "Arbaeen"

Shafaq News / The Crisis Cell for Najaf Governorate decided on Wednesday to open the governorate, which includes the shrine of Imam Ali, for visitors of Imam Hussain's "Arbaeen", while adhering to preventive measures.
The cell said in a statement, "It was decided to open the checkpoints to visitors on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday only, noting that the preventive measures will be adhered to".
Najaf Governorate had decided to impose comprehensive curfews and ban religious tourism to limit the spread of COVID-19.
It is noteworthy that the first COVID-19 case in Iraq was registered in Najaf for an Iranian student.
