Security forces thwart an IED attack in Basra

Shafaq News/ The Iraqi security forces reportedly thwarted an IED attack in the city of Basra in the far south of Iraq.
A source told Shafaq News Agency that an Explosives Ordnance Disposal squad defused an improvised explosive device planted to the door of a citizen's residence in Breha, Basra downtown.
The source added that security forces had started an investigation into the incident.
