Thieves invent a new way to steal with the help of " suicide bombers"

In a moment , everyone started to run entering the shops and fear on their faces; When voices raised saying , " an explosive belt .. explosive belt ." But   moments passed until the shopkeepers began to calm people and explain to people that it's a new way to steal the stuff of " runaway " people after thieves say loudly that there is a suicide bomber .

" Shafaq News " , tried to investigate this " way " and details . It has talked with a number of shop owners and shoppers . Abu Saleh, owner of a shop selling household items said that there are four people who fabricate alleged explosion especially on Fridays , where the market is full of people in order to spread fear and panic among the shopkeepers and shoppers and then steal the citizens and owners of shops and stalls .

Karim Jassim sells mobile phones said to " Shafaq News " , while smiling because he knows what those people are doing of tricks. He says, " I know the places where they make a fuss and fear, specifically near shops of mobile devices with a high price , I did not care about what they do and kept my things safe from being stolen ."

While Abu Jafar about 50 years old had a different opinion from his predecessors, he says that these are armed elements and want to opposite liar wolf story who provokes a disaster in order to delude the people and in the end a real disaster happens and no one believe him, Abu Jafar , who sells tea inside a small stall – said that they are trying to make people do not run away when hear the sound of an explosion or alert of people about the existence of a suicide bomber thus they will make a disaster because people did not became careful .

Shafaq News searched for the security services in the market and found its elements inside their cars at the entrance to the market from Imam Ali hospital side and the other entrance from " al-Gayara " side while the other streets were without any protection , even within the market there are no patrols of the security services which facilitate the work of armed groups that usually target Sadr City, eastern the capital , especially as the market is meant by thousands of people a day and from different areas for containing almost all the needs of the Iraqi citizen .

Observers to the security situation called on the competent authorities to stand on the truth of what is going on inside this market, most recently fabricating an alleged explosion on Friday, 05/16/2014 , they also demanded to know who does these tricks and make sure of their intentions whether they belonged to the armed groups that want to blow up the market by a number of explosive belts or it's just a trick and they are real thieves .

Mredi market is one of the popular markets located in Sadr City ( al-Thawra formerly) , specifically in a street called Jawader Street , where its length is equal to about three sectors of the city which are numbered of 80 sectors .

The name of the market came after the name of one of the sellers , who was called Mredi , it had been founded ten years after the establishment of al-Thawra city in 1972, its most notable feature is the availability of all what one wishes to purchase at very cheap prices .

Baghdad Secretariat has tried to remove the market for several times due to overcrowding which leads to the main street (Jawader Street ) but with no avail , it remained the same till now.
